The artwork
Deep navy sea gives way to a pale, pearl-white shore where warm gold surfaces through the sand. Paint is dragged heavily throughout, dense on the sea side and coarser toward the shore, with veins of gold pushing through the texture like sediment catching the light.

The Artist
Norman is an engineer by profession and an artist by instinct, creating abstract works centred on balance, colour and texture.
