Why Koya Haus exists
The name KOYA is inspired by the Urdu word khoya — to be blissfully lost. Lost in a moment, a ritual, a scent. That feeling was the starting point: what if the objects in your home could bring a sense of calm rather than noise?
Most things we buy for our homes are designed for convenience. They're practical, replaceable, and forgettable. Koya Haus was built on the opposite idea — that the objects around us should be worth noticing, worth keeping, worth passing on.
It started with candles, but was always intended to grow into something broader: a considered collection of home pieces that honour natural materials and slow, skilled making.
Our Philosophy

We're not driven by seasons or trend cycles. Every Koya Haus piece is designed to feel as relevant in five years as it does today — which means starting with the right materials, working with the right makers, and not cutting corners to hit a price point.
Natural materials are the foundation of everything we make. Stone, wax, botanical fragrance — these carry their own character. No two pieces are identical, and that's the point.
Materials and Craftsmanship
What goes into each piece
Our stone vessels are made from solid natural onyx, marble, and travertine — quarried in Balochistan, Pakistan, a region known for producing some of the world's most distinctive decorative stone. It's the same place the brand's heritage comes from, and that connection matters to us.
Each piece is cut and finished by hand. Because the stone is real, no two vessels are identical — the veining, tone, and surface texture vary naturally from piece to piece. That variation isn't something we try to minimise. It's what makes each one its own.
Our candles are poured using a soy and beeswax blend, paired with naturally derived fragrances chosen for depth and longevity. The scent is designed to change how a room feels, not just how it smells.
The goal with every piece is the same: something you'll keep using long after the novelty wears off, because the quality holds up and the design doesn't date.
